Megan's freak cat! It has thumbs!! Hurley is really cute and nice though. And yes he's real!
Tattoos from Saturdays' Market. This lady was making bank! We paid her $15 (for both of us) and we were only there for probably 5 minutes. You had to put your name on a list! Crazy busy!
This picture carries a million memories alone! Brian, Jake, and Dad Brashear thought it would be a good idea to fix the pond scum bridge to the dock! Jake held Dad's hand as he reached out and drug it back in. It probably weighed 300 lbs wet! They struggled to pull it out but managed to get it up and functioning. Jake gave us a good laugh when he started gagging when he was splashed with nasty pond water and managed to get it on his shirt! Wonder if the bridge is still up?

Ok so where are you moving exactly? I'm geographically challenged and can't tell from the pics apparently! Is that for REALS the Goonies house? If it is you are the COOLEST person I KNOW! I LOVE LOVE LOVE the Goonies. :)
I'm looking at places just south of Portland, Oregon. Astoria is at he upper left corner of Oregon and Portland is South of there just a little bit. (I think an hour). We have a lot of kinks to iron out before we actually decide to go. Yes this is the real Goonies house. It's on a dead end street and they don't let you drive up there. So to get a good picture you have to get it from the curb down the street.
I would have paid good money to see Jake gag on pond water! So which tatoo is your's? I really like the funny skull & bones one, but then the butterfly is really cute. Was it henna? Now John cracks me up! What an invention! Man, I wish I would have thought of that. The cat with thumbs is a little freaky. Are the thumbs only on the front paws or on all four?
Mine is the cute skull and bones! Jake thinks I look ridiculous. He says it like dad and it's a bit freaky. But remember when I would dye my hair or cut it or wear something unusual? Dad would always tell me I looked stupid or ridiculous (to put it nicely!) in that weird voice - Jake sounds like that! Henna is a plant that they use part of the juices to make a paste that they can paint on you. They draw a little picture and then it dries and flakes off. Staining your skin for about a week to two weeks. Fun and not permanent! Hurley's toes are only like that in the back. It was weird!
We think Oregon is a great choice, however before you make your final decision you should come check out southern Oregon. IT is still green but not as much rain and our town has a sign above it that says it's the climate. Come check us out. Looks like you had a blast on your trip.

Looks like you had a great time, and got to see a lot. You will have to keep everyone posted when you know for sure where you are going. Maybe you will be closer to us!
